Originally an 18th century farmhouse, Bankfield House offers a warm and comfortable welcome to all. Set in lovely grounds with log fires in the

bar and lounge, the peaceful rural setting offers a perfect base from which to explore the delights of the Western Coast and Lake District.

Our restaurant offers a wide selection of local produce freshly prepared, open all day to cater to your needs. Our individually furnished rooms range

from a four poster with spa bath and walk in shower, family rooms and a cosy single, all en suite.

One double four poster room with spa bath and walk in shower. Three family/twin rooms. One small double/single All en suite with TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Electric heating so that you can adjust to your needs.

The four poster is £90.00 for double occupancy and £60.00 for single
The small double is £70.00 for double and £45.00 for single occupancy
The Family rooms are £55.00 for single occupancy £80.00 for double occupancy extra children over 2 under 16 £15.00 per night extra adults and over 16's £25.00 per night on top of the double room price. Room 3 can sleep 4 persons, Rooms 5 and 6 max of 3 persons.

Close to the coast, Bankfield House is a short drive from Silecroft which boasts an award winning beach, horse riding centre and a 9 hole golf course.

In the other direction Millom has banks, petrol station, shops or why not visit the Mining Museum, RAF Museum in Haverigg and Hodbarrow nature reserve. Bankfield House is an easy drive from Muncaster Castle and the attractions further up the West Coast or you may choose to head into the Central Lakes where there is plenty to see and do.
