Bankfield hotel stands in its own 5 acres of grounds in beautiful countryside. The hotel is fully licensed and has a fine reputation for good wholesome cooking using as far as possible local meat fish and game, both for Bar and Restaurant meals. We are open all day for breakfast, morning coffees, lunch and afternoon teas, high teas and dinner. The traditional sunday lunch is a Bankfield speciality with many of our customers coming every week.
The hotel is ideally situated to suit all outdoor pursuits being near to the coast, the lakes and the fells and is a very comfortable relaxing base for enjoying such a holiday. All bedrooms are ensuite. There is a comfortable lounge, bar, restaurant and large dining room.
